Service - nonexistent...paid to valet park, got to carry our own bags. Breakfast was lousy. Thermostat in room did not work, beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Food selection was lousy! Best thing about this hotel is leaving it to go somewhere else nearby.

Loved staying at the Hyatt Place since I could walk less than a block to the convention center and then safely walk to some fun places like the Elephant Room and restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. Very close to the 6th street and all the fun. The shampoo and the lotion were not new. Iron was broken. Shower grout was dirty. Construction around the hotel is noisy. Too expensive (room + parking) for what you getting.

This hotel is fairly new and in pristine condition. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Continental breakfast had many options. The workout facility had plenty of modern equipment (free weights, 3 treadmills, bikes and one weight machine) and free headphones, water & towels. I really liked the hotel, as well as the people working there. I was a bit bummed that the pool was tiny and inside, and would have loved room service. Overall I'd rate it as a 4 star hotel :-)

Overall Good! But there was construction going on next door that started at 3am and woke us up. It would have been nice if they would have taken that into consideration & put us on the other side of the hotel especially since they were not real busy.

Loved the hotel. Right downtown. Breakfast buffet is wonderful. The customer service was 4 seasons-esque. Will definitely be back. Only possible negative comment is that we did not have shampoo when we first arrived. Everything else was top notch.

It was great to stay so close to the Action of Austin. This hotel is a bit far from the 6th Street activities, but there are great restaurants right next door and it is close to the park and trails.

Overall, very pleased with the hotel stay, Price, service and location are great.The AC vent over the bed is unfortunate as it blasts cold air right on you while you are sleeping and the staff isn't super familiar with the area yet - but they were extremely welcoming.

I enjoyed the stay. Very easy and very, almost too friendly staff! I loved the location too. I was able to walk to all the yelp/tripadvisor recommended locations. Also, very close to bus stops, making commuting around Austin a Breeze, even for a first time visitor like myself. I will be back!

The hotel was nice but not the best Hyatt Place we have stayed at. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice but the beds where not comfortable. Also, the eggs for the breakfast tasted like they were fake. Otherwise, everything was nice.

The hotel is new and clean, and our room was spacious. It has comfortable beds and nice flat screen TV. The people behind the front desk are very friendly and helpful. You can't be much closer. There's a good, low-key crepe cafe around the corner for breakfast or lunch. It's close to Congress street and the bridge over Congress which crosses the lake. A short walk to 6th Street activity. We walked everywhere from the hotel. Only inconvenience is that there's a lot of construction going on nearby with many of the sidewalks closed. I absolutely loved my stay. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was beautiful. It was perfectly located for the track meet that I attended. The children that were with me were so impressed and amazed by how helpful and nice everyone was. They were also impressed with the breakfast. I will definitely be returning anytime I am in Austin.

The hotel staff was attentive. The rooms were nicer than expected. The complimentary breakfast was also nicer than expected. The only issue were no safe in the room & also, the elevator wasn't working perfectly.

From the time we pulled up outside, we were treated with courtesy, respect, and humor.The stay was for a friend's Birthday, and they provided her with a complimentary beverage of her choice. in Hyatt fashion the rooms are quite "modern" thus small and difficult to move around in. the service...all employees were marvelous! They can't be faulted for the Hyatt design.

The hotel is sleek and new. Absolutely beautiful. Great service, and nice breakfast. My complaint is parking fees. Hotels.com as well as other sites I checked for this stay said, "Complimentary Parking." Fact is self-parking was $22, and Valet was $31. Not pleased by that little surprise.

Beautiful hotel and stay. My only complaint is that the cooling and heating vent blows very hard when it comes on and in my room blew directly on the bed. Everytime it came on I woke up. I like my room cold so it came on alot. Fix that problem and you'll have an awesome hotel. Keep Austin weird!
