"Let me start by saying very clearly that I really dislike giving a bad review. I also don’t like moaning people who complain about the small things in their stay. This is a great hotel and building. They are lovely rooms. Clearly considered and classy renovation. Faultless in that respect. Restaurant was good but very limited choice. "Nice accomodation at a beautiful scenery. But some services were not available or ‘out of order’ without informing the guests. Restaurant and Spa were closed and it was even difficult to get a coffee (late November 2024)."

"Our ground floor room was cold and damp as if it hadn’t been used in weeks. The noise from the street made it impossible to get to sleep. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Calling this a Hotel is stretching the point, in our opinion it was more like a hostel. On street parking was pretty much impossible and whilst the hotel parking was reasonably priced but the access wasn’t easy as the damage and paint on the walls was a testament to this."

"Excellent Parador, lovely, friendly staff in a good location. However please note it is not possible to walk to any local points of interest which was a downside for us as we were travelling by motorcycle and it was very hot. There is no swimming pool but there is a lovely lake within 15 minutes drive."
