We have stayed in Maple Tree Inn before. This time we stayed 9 nights. Though I checked "Good" on the rating, there are more areas that can be improved.
1. Wall is thin. On the first night of our stay, our next door neighbors came back late, spoke loudly and woke us up at 1:30 am till 2:30 am. Luckily we complained to the front office the next day and the loud talking stopped afterwards. Would recommend the hotel to request late check-ins to keep noise low, or post signs inside and outside elevators to remind guests about courtesy quiet time after 10 pm.
2. Heater is very noisy.
3. Housekeeping is only provided when requested a day earlier. We did make a request a day earlier, but housekeeping didn't come. When we called the front office, it seems either they missed it or misinformed us as it was the New Year day. The following day we went to front office to confirm the housekeeping, the person said she had tried to call our room about not having housekeeping the previous day. If she did call, maybe the voicemail didn't work?
Otherwise, it is basically a good hotel, though each time we stayed something happened.
Breakfast is great! We appreciate the ladies keeping the breakfast area clean and keep the food fresh.
