Modern motel in quiet location
This is a modern, and very conveniently located motel in a quiet location, just off El Camino Real in Palo Alto. The hot breakfast in the morning was a very nice touch as well. Only complaint I have is lack of sufficient counter space for placing objects inside the room. The one side table was very small and there is no dresser or table to set anything on. There was a small desk in the corner, but there is plenty of wasted space that could be used for some practical furniture. But other than that, everything else is fine especially the bathroom which did have adequate counter space.

modern, quiet, nice, comfortable.
Very nice hotel. we love modern, which this is. MUCH nicer than the hotels near by, which we have certainly tried, so we are happy to find this place. Rooms are a little small, but then the price is worth it. Only real complaint is that they should give guests instructions on how to use the thermostat. That was very frustrating. We will come back.

Disappointed
The room was excellent/clean/modern. The photos and descriptions about the property were inflated. This gym shot while accurate, depicts the entire gym. The outside photos seem inviting but the space is not suitable for outdoor luxury. The bar is really a couple of stools at the front desk. The breakfast is also in the small room with the bar, & check-in, all in one

Clean and convenient to Stanford. Price was reasonable. AC in room was difficult to operate and would not turn on on the final day. Plenty of parking. Super noisy at night due to the thin walls and proximity to the parking lot.
