Booked 2 rooms with 2 beds and put us in rooms with one bed. Front desk staff couldn’t help when I came back to correct. Had to wait for a manager who I will say was very nice and helpful. Towel desk had no towels 4 times over a 24 hour period including first thing in the morning. Did not come to clean the room until after 4:00 every day. Tried to have dinner in the hotel restaurant and was told no waiting list but rather to go online and make a reservation over could order at the counter and sit in the bar area. Thankfully a bartender was extremely nice and did not make us do that. Meanwhile 2 hosts stood there the entire time we ate and did nothing. Tried to rent snorkel gear first thing in the morning and was told it was being cleaned. Not sure why it was not cleaned the night before and ready to go.

Great location. We had ocean front views with a nice balcony. The resort is open and lots to do for all family members. Room was spacious and bathroom was nice. Only recommendarion is to upgrade the mattresses as they were really soft.

Amazing hotel with amazing views
Kona Outrigger was a fantastic hotel. From check-in (shout out to Michael for setting everything up) to check out, the hotel delivered. It was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. You could tell that the hotel wasn't new, but it was keep very well and the grounds were beautiful. There were 2 pools, one for families and one for adults. The view were spectacular and we were also able to see the manta rays at night while we watched the snorkelers. Overall, it was a 10, and we would absolutely stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel and checked in, for the size of the property we were suprise to only find 2 elevator locations none of which are well marked to help you locate them. Upon arriving at our room we started to freshen up and discovered our sink would not drain, we didn't recieve the reusable water bottles and our sliding glass doors were difficult to lock because they didn't line up, we called the front desk, they said they would send someone up. About a 1/2 hour later an engineer arrived and began disassembly of the drain, he worked on it about a hour and a half and was no closer to getting it repaired. We said we needed to go to dinner and he told us he would suggest to the front desk a new room. On our way to dinner we stopped at the front desk to get a new room and told them we would pack up our belongings when we returned and move to our new room. We got back from dinner about 8:30p and started to move to our new room. The room didn't have the air turned on so we turned it on and after Ann hour it still wasn't cooling down much. I contacted the front desk again and they sent the engineer, he opened up the air vent and did something that eventually brought the temp down. The next morning we left our room by 9am and when we returned at about 6p the room had not been attended to. Again we contacted the front desk, they said they did the rooms for new guest first but they would send someone up while we were gone to dinner. This happened again the next day.

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing time! This resort is nothing short of fantastic — breath taking views, waterside, different pools, friendly staff, manta ray snorkeling balcony to watch manta rays come up and eat at the surface (also sign up to actually go out yourself on one of the boats!! We signed up and we were able to walk from the resort and meet at the dock for our adventure! We did so much on our trip and we have to say that was the most adventurous and amazing thing we did!

My husband had a cockroach crawl on him while sleeping and he killed it in the bed. We asked for a new room and they gave us a worse view but cockroach free room but the shower water was ice cold and wouldn’t get warm let alone hot so we had to shower in ice cold water. The staff didn’t seem very apologetic towards these inconveniences either. It costs money to park at the hotel every day as well which is crazy for already paying guests. Will not be returning at this location

Dining options poor, one restaurant, limited menu. Extortionate prices. Tepid food, additionally as an example, asked for sliced onions to be added to a breakfast item. Answer, maybe and there will be an upcharge. Seemed to be a favorite statement. Absolutely will not go there again. No room service, no poolside service. Supposed to have a spa, no spar..being refurbished. Wi fi did not work, they fixed it. But when called, they seemed to know. How come it was not repaired before someone had to call and report it. So many details in this place that were not up to par. Not a happy camper.

The staff was mostly amazing but a few. Some of the employees were annoyed we asked for fresh squeezed pineapple juice on their menu because they didn’t want to make it.. the resort is beautiful! The garden and walk is so pretty and the swim spot right by the lawn was stunning! But the TV didn’t work for 3 days straight which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.. also if you have noisy neighbors you will hear everything
