I booked two rooms, and while the stay had potential, several issues made it less than comfortable. In one of the rooms, some of the outlets didn’t work, the plugs were too loose to stay in, and the lighting was extremely dim, like the bulbs were low wattage.
Then the next morning, things got worse. Before I was even fully awake, maintenance had to come fix and replace the key tap/door lock system because it was malfunctioning and I couldn’t get into the room. This was already frustrating first thing in the morning.
Not long after that, around 9:30 AM, the general manager called my room phone, waking me up, telling me I needed to come downstairs to show my ID and provide my email — information I had already given at check-in. I was confused and irritated, especially because I struggle with insomnia and didn’t fall asleep until around 5 AM. Being woken up like that after finally getting rest really affected me. Plus, I had a two-hour drive home, so I needed that sleep.
Overall, the morning felt chaotic and unprofessional, and I didn’t feel considered as a guest. These issues definitely impacted my stay.
