I previously stayed at this hotel when it was run Best Western several years ago and had an excellent experience. This stay I felt I nickel and dime at every turn. I mean $10 to park in addition to the room? $6 for a muffin plus an automatic $2 tip? My reference is that none of those charges were levied when it was operated by Best Western. The parking fee was the most ridiculous charge. I certainly would not stay at a Hilton if I can avoid it. On a positive the rooms were nice and on par with Best Western when I stayed there before.

Nice but could be better
It was fine. The room was freezing when we arrived, the power went out in the middle of the night so my husband who uses a cpap machine was in trouble. The light in the sink area went on when one of us used the bathroom in the middle of the night waking up the other. So not a restful stay at all. When we booked was not told we would be paying for parking and taxes. Was under the impression all of the above was covered on original cost.

Disappointed in the Changes
This is where we stay when visiting our parents in Sonoma. We have never had to pay to park before becoming a Hilton.Charge was $10/day for outside the building parking. The reception staff was not familiar with the computer system delaying our check-in. Loved this hotel before the Hilton change. They placed a $200 incidental hold on our credit card (also new) Will most likely now stay at the nearby Lodge of Sonoma.

The heater fan kept kicking on and off and was rather noisy. Other wise perfect. I could move my walker throughout the room. I enjoyed the hot tub. I would recommend this to everyone. Great location right in the middle of town.

Nice place to stay in Sonoma
Nice big room. We had a room on 2nd floor towards back of hotel and it was quiet. Bed was very comfortable. We had a fireplace that had an easy to light pressed log in it, so we lit it for the ambiance. Front desk staff was very nice and efficient.

Best overall choice in Sonoma
This hotel has recently changed from a Best Western to a Hilton. The have updated the lobby and rooms. It is now more expensive and the complimentary breakfast is much more limited. Still, it is probably one of the better accommodations. The rooms are nice, the location is adjacent to the town square and the staff very hardworking and helpful.

Location
Convenient location, kids loved the pool and hot tub and nice room in general. Unfortunately the bathroom.sensor light that never turned off and the fluke that wasn't opened properly made for some difficult nights' sleep.

Charming stay
The rooms were nicely remodeled. The room decor suited to quaint Sonoma charm. The courtyard with the and pool and hot tub area was nice. Breakfast was lacking.

Pleasantly surprised with our King Room with a patio and fireplace. Much nicer than what it appeared on the website. The courtyard and pool area is very nice and clean. At check in the attendant (an older lady with a mask) was a little gruff and not very friendly. The breakfast was not good, coffee was weak. Frozen breakfast burritos and day old muffins and bread. We ended up going out for breakfast. All in all I’d give it a solid 8.
