NEVER AGAIN
I was quite disappointed with this hotel. We mainly booked it due to it having a hot tub in the room. However, the hot tub would not turn on due to the button being pushed in. Leatha, front desk worker, told us that she'd contact her manager and maintenance and get back to us. We waited for 2 hours then we went to the front desk to find Leatha sitting on the couch next to the desk watching TV. We asked about the hot tub and she said she was still waiting to hear back. She did not offer to change rooms, a discount, or the respect to follow up with us. We sat in the room and waited 2 additional hours before finally going to sleep. So, we didn't even leave for dinner in fear we'd miss the maintenance worker.
Besides the broken hot tub, the king bed sheets had black smudges on them; no clue what it was. The loveseat had brown caked on stains all over the back of it. When we went to breakfast at 7:05 AM, there wasn't any eggs and the sausage patties were like hockey pucks.
We have stayed at Baymont many times and never had issues. When we checked out the lady said we had to wait until 8 or 830 to get any compensation or file any complaints. The manager, Rita, emailed me stating that all she could do was give me a 10% discount; however, it has been 13 days since she said this and still have never received anything.
Do no stay here - it was a total waste of money and the staff obviously don't understand how to respect customers or follow up on promises made.
