From check in to check out the service was brilliant. All staff were friendly and attentive. The quality of food was lovely and reasonably priced. Probably one of the best english breakfasts I have ever had. The standard of bedrooms was very high.

Nice hotel with a small downside.

Very nice inn. Absolutely excellent restaurant & pub - food was superb! One downside: seems like some or all of the bathrooms in the hotel have drain pumps and it is really noisy to the point that you'll be awaken in the middle of the night if someone around your room goes to the bathroom. Hotel is nice and cosy, water pressure is reall nice too, condition is brilliant and you can see that it is well looked after. Unfortunately i didn’t sleep well a single night because of highlighted issues.

Superb weekend break

Wonderfully charming hotel full of character. We stayed in the Shakespeare suite which was lovely. Excellent and friendly service, great breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant. Highly recommend.

An attractive and popular inn. The room was comfortable and clean and all the staff were helpful and pleasant. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. It is handy for Stratford on Avon and nearby Alcester.

A Superb Stay

We had a superb one night stay in the Shakespeare Suite which was in the roof area. Lots of exposed beams but all spotlessly clean with a really comfy bed and quality furniture which all matched. Our evening meal was excellent with the staff very attentive and not afraid to stop for a chat. Breakfast was great too, you chose what you wanted and it was all freshly cooked. We genuinely cannot fault any aspect of our overnight stay, it was excellent from start to finish - staff who are very helpful and friendly and with a lovely restaurant.

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends in the area. We booked a twin room. The room was very small but clean with a lovely en-suite shower room attached. the beds were very comfortable. We arrived early so while we waited for our room to be ready we ordered a BLT double toasted sandwich which we both shared, it was delicious. There was plenty of parking in the car park outside. In the evening our friends joined us for a meal at the inn, the pub is obviously very popular as it was a Monday night and was full. My choice of fish pie had sold out so I opted for the Broom Burger, as did my husband. We were a little disappointed in the burger, it was very dry and overcooked, our friends, however enjoyed their meal so maybe it was just a one off. We had a full cooked English breakfast in the morning, which was excellent, freshly cooked and plentiful. We started with the fruit salad which was lovely, fresh raspberries, strawberries apples and grapes. We would definitely stay here again but maybe try and book a larger room.

3rd time and not the last

I just love this place. From the moment you walk through the door you feel at home. We like to stay in the Shakespeare suite which is beautiful and supremely comfortable. I always have the best nights sleep. The food in the restaurant is fabulous- I won’t eat risotto anywhere else. We usually stay for a night on our way back from visiting family in Dorset but I think next year we will come for longer. Thanks as always to all the staff.

Great check in, friendly and informative. Food is delicious, I made the mistake of ordering a starter as the main meals are large portions and great value for money. My advice would be to order a main and if you are still hungry go for a desert but I doubt you will need it. Would highly recommend

What a lovely find! The Shakespeare Suite is fantastic. We had Sunday lunch and would definitely recommend it. I’m gluten free and they catered for me no problems. The staff were lovely and friendly, chatted to us, were attentive and nothing was too much for them! Breakfast the next morning was great. Good choice and freshly cooked to order.

Definitely recommend this hotel

We had a lovely overnigh stay atvthe Broom Hall. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I have Coeliac disease and Hannah went out of her way to make sure I had gluten free food.
