Nice hotel. Wrong side of hotel.
Room was nice, hotel is nice, no complaints about the overall condition or comfort. Front desk was ok, kind-of indifferent. Coffee service was discontinued the 2nd morning of our 2 night stay, maybe the front desk could suggest a nearby place to grab a coffee?
The least pleasant part of our stay was that our room was on the West side of the hotel, there is a restaurant/bar on the ground floor that has an outdoor patio. The noise coming from that patio was also amplified by the brick building next door and we got to enjoy(not) the loud partying until well after 1:00am. So much fun they were having by their volume level. Old hotel with thin walls and loose windows don’t block the noise.
Hotel front desk was called, they offered to move us into another room at 11:30pm. No thanks! Maybe a reduction in our bill is in order? how about warning guests that this will be a noisy night? Front desk shoulder-shrugged away the issue sounding like they have heard it before. Oh well too bad.
