I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay on 01/01/2025. My family and I had traveled from London for a wedding, a journey of over 4.5 hours with our 4-month-old baby, and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of acceptable standards.
Upon checking in at approximately 3:30 PM, we were directed to a room that was still being cleaned. This left us waiting outside with our baby in tow until the cleaning staff finished. Frustrated, I returned to reception, where the staff, clearly flustered, reassigned us to another room.
Regrettably, the new room was not up to standard either. It was excessively dusty, as evidenced by thick layers of dust behind the television and filthy carpets. My husband and I suffer from dust allergies, and despite taking allergy medication, we experienced severe discomfort during our stay. I strongly believe that the conditions of the room contributed to our current state of illness.
Additionally, the following issues further disrupted our stay:
• Toilet flush: The flush ran continuously throughout the night, which significantly disturbed our sleep.
• Noise: Loud noises from the corridors repeatedly woke our baby, adding unnecessary stress.
• Heating and draft: Despite setting the heating to full, the room remained cold due to a noticeable draft, making it extremely uncomfortable.
