This is a very comfortable place. Old enough to be interesting, but very well kept.
It would have been nice to have had a coffee maker in the room because we're early risers, but there is coffee in the lobby starting at 6 am.
Of particular note, Vincent went out of his way to help us when we first arrived, because the road work mentioned below complicated our arrival a bit.
As referenced above, the temporary downside is that there is a major road resurfacing project underway on the street right in front of the hotel, and the traffic during the day is hideous. The good news is that the old town center is right across the street, with many, many shops and restaurants. The work was supposed to be done in June but here we are in October and I see no end in sight, so that should be kept in mind.
