The room was lovely and spacious and we could spread out. It was a great room with high ceilings and lots of natural light, and a fridge. The location is very convenient with a lot of wonderful bars, cafes, restaurants and shops around, not to mention the Jewish Quarter sight seeing and the Barbie museum is 20 metres away. We enjoyed the vibe of the neighbourhood.
The breakfast is held in the cafe adjacent to the hotel and it was high quality and good coffee. On the downside the cafe can't cater to gluten free people, but you can bring your own bread with agreement from them. The cafe is popular with locals so don't leave it until the last minute to get breakfast.
I didn't see the reception very often but we didn't need any help so it was fine. Getting in to the building on arrival was great as they sent me the door code.
The street outside is very noisy until late and if you are short you may struggle to close the top windows. The only cooling was a fan and while we were grateful for that, it was a little bit warm at night and the windows had to be closed. The bathroom was very small also, but on the balance of things it wasn't that important. The cleaning schedule was strange and seemed to run in the afternoon and the cleaners seemed uninterested in taking our dirty cups. I basically had to take my cups to them and insist. The cleaning service could therefore be better.
