Hoi An Ancient Town is a UNESCO-listed landmark with a breathtaking mix of ornate Chinese temples, a Japanese-designed bridge, wooden shophouses, French-colonial houses, and canals. Ho Chi Minh is arguably the most popular historical and political figure in Vietnam and is affectionately referred to as 'Uncle Ho' by his people. His body is preserved in a glass case at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in central Hanoi, although it goes against his wishes.
