The Hampton Inn & Suites has one thing going for it. Location, location, location. Our check in was a mess. We were assigned to a room and then at 10 in the evening, they started calling us asking us who we were and what room we were in. The next morning when we went to the desk they informed us we were is a room charged to a different person and we were being charged for a different room. It got straightened out, but it was kind of a mess. There seemed to be a significant leak in the pool area as the dining space had towels and industrial fans all around to soak up the puddles. I don't think we had high expectations. Staying on the River Walk is spendy. We had a place to sleep at night and didn't spend much more time in our room than that.
