GOT YOUR MONEY BUT NO SERVICE NOR HELP !
Having checked in Auckland Rose Park Hotel at 4pm on 17/5/2025 (Saturday), we asked the young lady receptionist, Lena, for directions on where to push the trolley from our handicapped car park at Tudor Block where the hotel reception was. The entry we were trying to get into had a low door span, and the hotel trolley was to tall.
Unfortunately, Lena lack customer relation ability and appeared very inexperienced and not-interested. apart from sitting comfortably at her chair at the reception only. We asked her,” You must be very new to this job.” She answered No, I have been working here for 2 years. Say no more, on her failing ability.
It's commonly know that any staff working in the hospitality industry would already have been trained to know how to interact with customers and be hospitable, such as offering help where needed.
Refusing to help and just sitting there is definitely unacceptable behaviour.
I met the hotel manager the very next morning and I told him that I have been staying at Auckland Rose Hotel for a few times last year. I told him that I’m going to write a review on Trip Advisor, Hotels.com and Google.
Apart from the bad experience we encountered upon check in, we have noticed that the floor above us got consistent loud banging noise. Early morning appearing to be a tradesman working.
Our room was 209 and upstairs was their kitchen and restaurant. We suspected that this loud hanging noise was coming fro
