Not a bad hotel, but there are better ones nearby.
We stayed at the hotel for a week on vacation. There were both good and bad things about the hotel.
The bad:
Our room was not ready to check in until after 8pm on the day we arrived. They tried to talk us out of the ocean view room we had reserved.
The hotel restaurant was closed and the only on-site restaurants available are in the sister hotel across the street.
House keeping skipped our room one day and on the last few days didn't replace our towels until we asked one night at the front desk.
The bathroom doors in the hotel allow for little privacy with a family with little kids. They are a barn door style with no lock. Not the end of the world, but one might want to keep that in mind.
The good:
The hotel has a really nice pool area with a water slide that is great for kids. We saw iguanas at the pool every time we went and the kids loved it. There is also an attached beach off of where the pools are and it's nice.
The ocean view and balcony in the room was really nice. It's worth getting a room facing the ocean as the back side of the hotel has no view at all except of the sister hotel across the street.
Overall the hotel was okay, but I wouldn't consider going there again and instead would try one of the nicer hotels nearby.
