We stayed here to avoid damaging hurricane strength winds and hail predicted for our area. The room was adequately appointed, very quiet and clean. The toilet was acting up requiring two flushes to get it to work occasionally. Shower was good pressure and I liked all the supplied wall-mounted soaps and such. Bed was firm but not overly firm, and I did not feel the other person move around.
Only drawback was the $75 non-refundable pet deposit that I didnât know about since I booked through hotels.com. That is really steep for one night stay! I will have to look at other options in the future.
They apparently don't have any backup power. The storms caused a power outage. When the power went out my cpap stopped working and and I couldn't sleep without it.
It was a nice stay, however the walls are not insulated at all I donât think. I could hear the conversion from the next room and they werent even talking loud. And the TV. And no microwave.
Overall, the hotel lobby and room were clean and neat. However, the hall on the 3rd floor, where our room was located, was very dirty. It appeared not to have been vacuumed for days. It was covered in dirt, mud, clumps of white thread. Breakfast was good. We could not use our computers in the room because the wi-fi signal was so weak. We had to go downstairs and sit in the lobby to receive a decent signal. Next time, we will try another hotel.
Situated right next to Buc-ee's, which is convenient. Pillows were a little flat and wish the shower was hotter. Just small issues though. Would def. stay there again.
