Small hotel at big price - there are better hotels
We arrived by taxi at the hotel, but it was wrong tower. Bellman helped with our bags to next building - very kind of him to escort us in the light rain. Check in was stiff and not very friendly as we have experienced at other hotels in japan. We were probably given the smallest room at end of very long hallway. When we were leaving in the morning, we passed by many rooms that were being serviced by housekeeping and saw that all the rooms we passed were much bigger, with sitting area and 2 chairs. Our room was like a broom closet, in an already small room. There was barely enough room for 2 of us and our 3 suitcases. This was our 1st time at this hotel, we will not stay here again. There are many other hotels that are more welcoming. We were not given any instructions about internet, you actually have to turn on TV to get login & password info (we called front desk & found out this information). We don’t watch TV so would not know that you have to turn on TV to get internet info. I do have to say the bellman (lady) was most helpful with our luggage and getting a taxi to take us to airport.

Hotel could use some TLC
with the room having grout lines needing attention, old AC that can’t get below 22C 72F in 3 days and the desk mixing up family checkin’s. The service staff (apart from the front desk) were good and helpful.

Nagyon jó
Big rooms, great location for everything
We arrived 90 minutes before the 3pm check in, unfortunately the room wasn’t ready but they did check us in and told us we’d have to wait 40 minutes for the room to be ready. So not bad really Room was massive and worth the wait although ‘toilet’ smells coming from the bath and drain in the bathroom. Good location to many bars and restaurants, including the railway station. Downside is 11am checkout and they charge extra for even a one hour extension

Great Hotel.
The hotel is simple amazing with a beautiful Japanese garden in the backyard. It is conveniently located close to Shinagawa Station and many places to eat and shop. Our only complaint is that the A/C unit in our room wasn’t cooling down enough and instead of moving us to a new room they just brought a portable A/C unit which only helped a little bit. Also beware of hidden fees like when using the pool. You have to pay extra for that.

Hotel near shinagawa station
Very enjoyable stay at this property with my wife - we particularly liked the "secret garden" at the back of the hotel. The location is convenient for Shinagawa station, and there are number of small temples/shrines in walking distance from the hotel. We only travelled with hand luggage so walked up the hill with our bags - no problem with that - but for any travelers with more luggage this is not advisable. Wifi at the hotel was fast and stable. Breakfast was also good - we had this in the "lounge" - though you need to be a bit forceful if you don't want to be seated in the "dark" entrance area of the lounge (we were seated there on the first day which was okay but I wasn't too happy about being offered a table in that area again on the second day - we insisted our preference to wait for a free table in the front area and were seated there after a few minutes wait.
