Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingsland I-95-Naval Base Area, an IHG Hotel

We hadn't planned on a specific stop for the night, but we were so glad that we stayed here. The room was very clean, as was the gym and breakfast area. The pre-packaged breakfast items were actually tasty and fresh. We'll definitely stay here again (it's on our route for a family visit trips).

For the most part, things were good. When we arrived we had to wait literally 20 mins for someone to come out of whereever to help us. After we were finally helped, I went out to retrieve more of our items from our vehicle, & someone else was going through the same thing. Although I watched the employee go back into the breakfast room or whatever it is. That guy waited a good 20 mins also. As well, there was 3 or 4 teens/kids acting a complete fool. Let me not not mention trying to start things with our family due to our race.

We had a great time and slept wonderfully at this hotel. The pool was fun and breakfast was hot and there was plenty for everyone. It could be a little more deep cleaned but the room seemed fine.

Typically the stay with the holiday inn is clean and safe however, the first room that we were given had a used mask and toilet paper on the floor. The front desk attendant did move us to another room however upon checking out the next day, I checked my bank account only to see that Holiday Inn had also charged me $130 for the exact same room that I paid for separately through hotels.com. I am still waiting for the pending charge to come off although I was originally told that there would only be a $10 incidental hold fee placed on my card. I have yet to speak to a general manager, and the front desk Attendant was very rude when I called for additional information about the room.

The light stayed on the whole time and the sir wasn’t cool until I put it on 65 degrees. So no sleep for me

Nicest Holiday Inn that I have stayed in. The room was like new and clean. Great dark out shades, biggest TV I ever had at a hotel. Good self serve hot breakfast , egg / sausage wrapped separately along with muffins and road snacks. I will definitely be back there as part of my itinerary.
