Old but comfortable
The lady at check-in was amazing but the owner should be ashamed to have had 1 person working on a sold-out night. She was trying to do everything with everyone arriving at the same time after the races. She helped with broken TVs, missing remotes, an ignorant client, all with a smile.
Certainly the same cannot be said about the morning person who was ignorant and unfriendly. She did not speak, just pointed her finger to the breakfast room without raising her head from her notepad. There was no breakfast available by 8:20am and she didn't care; not even a juice or cold drink in the cooler.
Rooms are older and TVs not great, but beds were comfortable and clean. Air conditioner old and noisy. This property does not look like the online photographs. Hotels.com should take new photos to give true representation of property. The pool was also not in use; completely empty.
Can't say enough good things about the girl at the desk on check-in, doing what she could to get things right for the hotel guests, but no one should be left to manage a known sold-out property by themselves.
