Daiichi Hotel Annex

My husband and I stayed on the tenth floor and it reeked of smoke in the hallway and our room. The comforter had stains all over it. Beware if you're a light sleeper- there is a train line directly in front of the building. If you can afford to shop in the Ginza area, you can definitely get a nicer hotel room than this. Avoid staying here.

Excellent hotel. Amazing staff always going the extra mile to help. Breakfast was very good with 3 different restaurants to choose (1 in the Annex building and 2 in the main building). Walking distance to the metro station. Plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel. Good room, very clean, good facilities. The local area is excellent, very lovely with good transport links and just a short walk to the Ginza shopping district. My one negative was that this hotel advertises a fitness centre; Hotels.com listing fails to note that this is not free- rather you get a ‘discount’ coupon for you to use the health and fitness facilities of the main Hotel Daichi for ‘just’ 1600¥ per visit. Whilst people mention this in reviews I would expect the property and Hotels.com to be upfront about this in the property listing. I would have reconsidered my booking of this hotel if this was clear up front.

Good location. Staff are excellent 👍 We had a problem but solved right away.

Good location. Bed was bad. Shower/bath nice power but for midgets. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall. Walls where thin. Swimming pool not inside the hotel and an additional 2000yen/ visit
