An excellent place for escape
This is an outstanding resort. I was upgraded to a suite which was fantastic. The room was spacious, comfortable and had a great wrap around balcony with seating and great views of the ocean.
Any resort like this is not going to be inexpensive so as long as you know that going in, you will not be disappointed. The amenities are excellent and easily accessible. The grounds have been set up so that you can get to the pool, the beach, the restaurants with ease. The adult only pool is a great option and a nice mellow and quiet space if you want to be away from families and their energy.
The staff was exceptional in every venue from check-in to check-out. They were able to accomodate and help with requests.
This was my first trip to Hawaii and I am full convert and plan to be back. My thanks to the folks at the Fairmont for such a great stay. Mahalo.
