Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location
This is a beautiful, authentic hotel in a fantastic location, and I have no complaints, but I would recommend avoiding room #11 IF you prefer absolute privacy and quietness (you may have people sitting right outside of your window, happily chatting away, and a pipe that channels some of the upstairs wastewater runs right through your room). :)
We traveled in a midsize SUV and parking was a challenge - with a larger car, you should avoid that area of the city to begin with, but if you are willing to walk a little bit, there are plenty of public parking garages, with at least one really large one on the other side of the river (Plaza de Cuba).

Tunnels of history.
The most unique hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The coolest underground tunnels connecting 27 houses into one hotel. Located in the old town. Very convenient but difficult to get to by car.

Nice but needs some updating.
The room
Had no window that could be opened, so it was very stuffy.
I had requested 2 twin beds but got a double bed, which I did not want.
The chairs and sofa in the room were very low and were difficult to get up
From
When sitting down
It would have been nice to have coffee in the room.

Casas de la juderia
It is an amazing hotel and well worth staying there for the experience. Our room was good apart from hardly any reception with the tv, a large towel rail stuck out in front of the toilet, which you had to be careful you didn’t bash into and breakfast was ok but not what we expected for 4stars.

Our stay here is not a good experience. To be fair, the problem appears to be unique to the room we stayed in. You may find the hotel excellent if you stay in another room.
We stayed in room 63 which is located away from main area of the hotel via a narrow tunnel. When we first walked in, the room smelled strong of something like incense. I found a scent diffuser hard at work on a table and unplugged it, opened door and windows to get rid of the smell. We went out for a couple of hours and came back to the hotel. Guess what? Without artificial scent, the room smelled of sewer! Again opened door and windows trying to get fresh air. After staying in the room for a while, it seemed not so bad. We just get used to it, I guess. Every time first walked into the room from outside, the sewer smell was overwhelming.
The hotel room is in an old building in old part of the town. We thought all rooms might have the same issue. On the 4th nights, we finally requested for and got a different room after a sleepless previous night due to a barking dog outside the hotel. This room is in the main hotel building. What a difference! No sewer smell. Quiet.
I guess we had ourselves to blame for not asking for a different room as soon as we walked into room 63.

Acceso
El hotel es histórico y precioso, pero nos tocó una habitación que era por un laberinto que nunca pudimos descifrar! 😂 Después de un dia caminando por la ciudad fue algo pesado llegar al hotel. Por lo demás todo bien.

We fell in love with this beautiful hotel as we walked into reception.
It is different, it’s interesting. Round each corner is something else that makes you stop and take another photo or video.
Clean and comfortable. Amazing breakfast and happy, helpful staff.
If we return to beautiful Seville this would be our first choice of hotel.., highly recommend it as it really added to our holiday.

This is a unique hotel, located in the heart of old Lisbon. Every room is charming and unique. We had a view of the town and the river, a large bathtub, excellent bed for sleeping, and with the windows open, we were serenaded by musician playing every night. Very quiet with the windows closed. Fabulous breakfast every morning. The best of the four hotel we stay in this last trip.
