What a nightmare; starting at booking
Absolutely filthy. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, stains on the sheets, unvacuumed floor, dirt on the bathroom floor and the bathroom ceiling fan was coming out of the ceiling which created a hole in the ceiling. The room was disgusting. When we arrived, the parking lot was not shoveled from the snow at all. Many cars were stuck and parked in the middle of the lot. How dangerous. The people working also seemed like they did not care about the parking lot being so incredibly dangerous. My experience was awful. The room felt itchy and disgusting. No comfort from the moment I entered the parking lot. Overall, my experience was terrible. Not to mention I tried to book a pet friendly hotel and used hotels.com filter. I booked this hotel and in the confirmation they had a notice saying no pets allowed or there would be a $250 fine. When I reached out to hotels.com to cancel, they couldn’t because Super8 couldn’t connected them to the correct person to cancel my booking. So hotels.com told me my only options were to wait for a confirmation of a cancellation which would take 24 hours or keep the booking. I was traveling and didn’t not have the funds or time to wait and purchase another reservation elsewhere. Hotels.com DID NOT care and wouldn’t accommodate in any way to help me out. False advertising is not okay; whether it’s Super8 confirmation being false OR hotels.com filtering incorrectly. The stress is unnecessary. My entire experience was horrible.
