Cadet Hotel

The hotel was run down. The entire place smelled musty. There were ants in the bathroom. The towels were paper thin, small and frayed at the ends. The staff weren’t anything to write home about and the amenities are awful

This is the third or fourth time I stay here since this is walking distance where I need to be working for a few days. Will use it again next year.

The hotel is in a great location to shops, restaurants and the beach. It’s a Boutique hotel very small & intimate. Excellent customer service. My plan wasn’t to be in the room much—- this hotel was perfect for my wants

Nice shower. Nice Bed. But no table was a bit uncomfortable as a business visitor. I personally do not care about "Roku". Regular TV channels were preferred. Excellent location either business or leisure.

The hotel has a great location close to the beach, Lincoln Road with all the shops and restaurants, Ocean Drive and the bars, and the convention centre. It has no car park, but there is a public carpark very close for about $25 per day. In the UK, this hotel would be called a bed and breakfast or guesthouse. It’s small with a tiny bar and a tiny restaurant that isn’t open that often, it has no pool or other facilities to speak of. It certainly isn’t a four-star hotel. The room that I stayed in was a queen sized room, but very small and a little tired looking. The air-conditioning was preset by the hotel with no remote control, although you could request to have a control. I did but it didn’t seem to adjust the air-conditioning particularly. The shower was okay, and the TV was primarily on demand without any regular channels. You get what you pay for, and this hotel, given its location, was cheap at around $100 per night excluding breakfast. The breakfast was okay but I found I had to ask for things that should’ve been included, and the overall service levels offered one more like one gets used to in the UK – average – than one expects in the US. If you are looking for cheap without compromising the location and this hotel is okay for a night or two, but if you’re looking to stay for longer it may be worth spending a few extra dollars and getting a much better hotel experience.
