We are close to Unviersity of Washington, biotech hub of Lake Union. There are lots of ways to get out and enjoy Lake Union here. There is a boat launch for kayaks and canoes, or you can join the Lake Union Crew squad. Many small parks dot the shore, including Fairview Park and Eastlake Bouledrome, which claims to have the best waterfront bocce ball in Seattle (though we can’t imagine there’s much competition for that title). It’s always fun to grab a table on the deck at one of the restaurants along the lake (like Eastlake Bar and Grill or Serafina) so you can watch the boats and seaplanes.
