I have been booking this hotel every time I go to Monterey for over15 yeas and I appreciate the improvements, renovations and overall positive transformation over the years. It is clean, affordable and in a relatively convenient location.

Good budget motel, good location
This area is chock-full of moderate-priced inns, so be sure to compare amenities to decide if it suits you. We find the location very convenient for reaching PacGrove & Carmel/Carmel Valley, as freeway access is quick. Days has an elevator so if you require accessibility, do request a room close by. This is an older motel but well maintained/updated, altho our bath had a loose shower handle that we reported upon leaving (it was functional, just "wiggly"). Thin walls as is common; but mgmt was very prompt to act when the room above us made excessive noise for several hours straight--we called up when ready to sleep and they immediately made the folks quiet down. 5 stars to them for quick response!

Spent three night, overall had a great stay. Rooms were well kept up and clean but it is and older hotel. My neighbors were good but I could hear the tv next door a couple times. For the price I'd definitely stay here again, staff were excellent.

Days Inn was a really great hotel in Monterey and I would highly recommend staying there. The rooms were welcoming, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Cockroaches
After checking in to the room we found cockroaches. I notified the staff at the front desk. I told him we would not be staying there and would require a refund. I was told it would take a couple days. I have not received a refund nor any response from the hotel. I REQUIRE A REFUND!!!!!
