The check
In process was good, no troubles but our room had a burnt out bulb at the switch closest to the door so it was hard to find the other light options in the dark. The shower stall was definitely not clean, black debris around where the door hinges. The shower water took an inordinate amount of time to heat, like five full minutes. The heat/air/fan system is antiquated and noisy. The in room fridge was loud as well and the shelves had rust on them, however it was functional. The towels were fine but oddly for a hotel, different colours and textures. The AM breakfast was very basic but the waffles made my daughter happy. I was kind of skeeved out that rather than empty either garbage can in the breakfast area, a piece of cardboard was placed over the opening; it was definitely smelling like old garbage so perhaps it’d been there for more than one night. The front desk clerk was the same at check in and out and he was very friendly and able to answer any questions I had about the 100$ deposit required for rooms booked through a third party.
