This is our 2nd time staying at Best Western in Wills Point. We had such a get time the first time we came back. The staff are super helpful, always smiling and willing to bend over backwards to make sure you are taken care of. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are large, and the bathrooms are spacious.
There have been some good improvements over our last stay at the hotel. Improved on the toiletries in the bathroom, and a waffle iron was added in the breakfast room. Both are positive improvements. A larger coffee maker and a despensor would really help. Overall I'm happy to see positive improvemts and look forward to our next visit.
The person checking us in was extremely rude, had almost zero grasp of basic English and offered no information regarding the hotel. We knew there was breakfast from the website & and a sign in the lobby. The breakfast was almost inedible, the biscuits were frozen, the potatoes cold, the bacon partially cooked and the eggs powdered. Another guest asked someone who worked there why things were cold and his plate was taken back to cooking area & microwaved. Is that feasible to 30-40 guests at a time? The rooms were pretty clean and somewhat comfortable. I had stayed here several times about 3 years ago-it has really gone down hill since then. New owners, perhaps?
We booked this hotel for a trip to the First Monday Trade Day. We enjoyed our stay! It was clean and the staff was friendly. It is a pet friendly hotel in all rooms so keep that in mind. I did not know that when I booked the room but it was not a problem for us. This hotel is in an odd place for a hotel so if your looking for something in town this isnât it. It is quiet but there is a train behind the hotel but with the a/c or heat running we were not disturbed by it. The water pressure in the shower was pretty bad, no quick showers here. I feel like the owners are new and they are still working out the kinks of owning a hotel. I would stay again if Iâm am in the area!
