Hotel Hackescher Markt Berlin

Nice hotel at a convenient location. We were on the top floor, so the room feels small due to the inclined ceiling.

Though convenient location to public transportation and walkable to many restaurants, tourist sites, we had terrible hotel experience..from unfriendly reception clerks to VERY poor housekeeping service(lightbulb out in bathroom-not fixed, no soap replaced in shower, glasses not cleaned). They charged too much for 5 nights stay with poor service in this noisy train station hotel. Definitely would not recommend this place!

Great location, breakfast and friendly staff

Once I got into my room ( nah, it was a suite UPGRADE 👍 ), I was amazed how comfortable it was ( the bed was amazingly comfortable which is very important to me ) and the bathroom had almost everything ( bath, shower, bidet, hair dryer and was bigger that some hotel rooms that i’ve stayed in. As I had a very limited time to stay in Berlin, I couldn’t visit anywhere but Hackensher market has a wide range of bars and restaurants that cater to all different tastes ( Irish, Spanish, Italian and of course German). The hotel is also fairly central so perfect for visiting all of the tourist attractions and historical sites.( and you will see many tourists ). Should I get to visit Berlin again, I will definitely go back to the hotel again.

Good hotel in very central area to the S bahn, shops and cafes/restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean and bathroom modern. Very close to parks and attractions near Alexanderplatz and Mitte.
