average, but they withheld 2 three figure "holds" as "deposits" on the credit card I used, instead of one deposit, and after 9 days, they have not released the second deposit. They blamed it on my bank, and bank verfied twice they had no release of the deposit. The hotel claimed it was simply "held" . Untrue. It was charged the day after I left and they have continued to state a denial that it was charged.
So on the way back , I stopped back at the hotel and spoke to a night manager, who repeated that it was ordered to be released by them, and that my bank was the problem. Again, they lie to your face. Very poor service. And deceitful.
As of the time I post this review, my bank continues report to me that the amount was ordered as a charge, and not a "hold deposit", and that there are no orders ever to release the amount withheld, which would now have to be a full credit, as the amount was charged.
This is a reprehensible and unethical practice.
