Sailport Waterfront Suites

Front desk worker Damian was snippy. All others (security, etc... were helpful).

Returned to Sailport almost twenty years later. Visiting family and this is on the water, yet not on the beach so much cheaper and no crowds. The pool is quite small so it was crowded during spring break week. But the Tiki Bar is Awesome. Great drinks, great food truck style food ( highly recommend the shrimp po boy) and great staff. Only downside was the limit to the coffee in the room. It has one of those small keurig one cup machines. So if you love your morning coffee on the balcony like I do, bring your own pot or at least a bunch of k- cups. Also, lots of Downtown Tampa traffic from 3 to 6 ish so hard to get to the hotel, especially for food delivery. Mask policy- there are signs but most people did not wear masks. That was alright by me!

The hotel has a very good view of the pool and the the ocean , the best view is when the sunset and is well viewed from our patio . Very quiet and easy parking . The only thing that I see during our stay is the slow draining in the tub and the dish washer machine did not function well. We didn’t call for maintenance check due to we were always out from our room . Other that this issue , the stay was great !!! We will surely go back .

Hotel is older but in great condition. Nice and spacious rooms. Very clean. Pool and beach were nice. Great location. Doesn’t have access to the water but still nice. Definitely worth to come back

Comfortable suite with a kitchenette - beautiful views from the balcony. The room wasn't ready for us for quite a while after the 4pm check in time - we didn't arrive until 6ish and had to wait until after we had dinner to get into the room. Little convenience store at lobby has wine, beer, soft drinks and a few snacks and other items you might need, like toiletries. Nice geothermally warmed pool and sweet little beach area (you can not swim in the bay - very shallow and muddy at low tide).

This was our first time at Sailport. They had live music one night at the food/bar/pool area. Food and drinks were good. Friendly staff. I would have liked the bar area to stay open later than 10 pm. They didn’t offer room service I think due to Covid. Liked the Central AC. The room was a decent size for us, felt like an apartment. If we are in the Tampa area again we will return to Sailport.

Beautiful location, great for sunsets. Food by the pool above expectations. Rooms need a little work but for the price and location I was very happy. Staff works hard from the grounds to the very busy bartenders.

Overall awesome stay! Loved the poolside bar and waterfront fire pit and lounge areas. Make sure to book the shuttle the day before if you want to use it. Great room with a view of the bay for the price.

We arrived early and staff member indicated they contacted house keeping to prepare our room but did not inform us that the prior guests had not even checked out. (After hours) Staff said they would call when room was ready! 2hours later and no call we checked on status and were told they were just finishing up! 2 hours later with an honest staff member we found out the truth! The prior guests did not check out until 230pm! If the original staff member was honest we wouldn’t have waited around for 4plus hours to check in! Room was dated. Couch needs to be thrown out! Tiny pool for almost 200 guest rooms!

Very rude and served my under age family member alcohol at the pool. Would not recommend this as a family destinations
