Horrible service and property
We stayed at the lifestyle tropical resort from 25 Jan to 8 Feb. We arrived to the resort and We were given a room that was unacceptable. These are the reasons it was unacceptable: no shower door, shower glass cracked, shower control broken, bug in the bathroom, bathroom not clean, couch broke when I sat on it, the room not clean, tv outdated with no option for streaming, extremely dusty, very noisy surroundings, and no WiFi. I reported the issues the same night and I was told to return in the morning. I contacted hotels.com and they assisted. The next day I was told I would get another room and I explained I wasn’t going to get a room on the same level because I would check out. We were given a new room up to the standards of daily living. Then I was told the WiFi wasn’t available because the technician was working on it. After a day or so, we were locked out of our room. I reported to the customer service desk and there was no reason why our keys didn’t work. Next the WiFi was available for purchase but it wasn’t explained that it will only work for one device for the price. And you cannot share as a hotspot. This wasn’t explained early on or in the description online. Therefore it wasn’t available as described. Then we were locked out of the room again the next week and we were told it was because someone programmed the key wrong. Throughout the stay there was very little hot water in the shower and at times the water was shut off. The service was horrible. Do not stay!
