Mercure Roma Corso Trieste

The location is quite far from the city center and the covered parking is limited. Th first room I was checked-in had human hair on the bathroom floor and its door would not even close. After complaining about the previously described I was moved to a different room on the lower floor, which was a bit smaller and tight. Walls were dirty and general cleanliness was poor. No pool but good rooftop views. Gym without AC and barely 3 machines, no weights. Breakfast was acceptable but too pricey for 15 euros.

The hotel was lovely and clean, all staff very nice and helpful. Used room service once and the food was delicious. The only problem was finding the hotel the first time. Once we knew where it was, it was very close to the subway system. The air conditioning was not turned on yet despite higher outdoor temperatures, but the balcony door opened and ther was a nice breeze.

Upon check in we discovered that our mini fridge wasn’t working and they sent someone to fix it. They told us that they couldn’t fix it and that they’d tell front desk to reassign us to another room and to wait for front desk to call. We waited in our room but no one called. When we went to front desk they told us the hotel was fully booked and there wasn’t anything they could do. Room itself was pretty standard however there was no air conditioning because it hadn’t been turned on for the building yet. The windows opened to allow for air circulation but as our room was ground level and faced the parking lot, it wasn’t ideal. The location is quite out of the way but accessible by metro; about 25 minutes to get to major sites (e.g. Spanish Steps). Large breakfast buffet but not worth it for 15€. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Nice and modern hotel in a very quiet area of the city. Just 250 metres from the metro station Sant'Agnese - Annibaliano. Great location, not touristic but a beautiful area where locals live. There are a few shops and restaurants around, where you can find the necessary things for your stay, or having lunch and dinner if you don't have time to go in the city center. Our room was spacious with king-size bed and a balcony with nice view to the city. Rich breakfast with fresh and some organic products and a lot of space to sit. Very pleasant staff at the reception, excellent staff at the breakfast area, little noisy staff at the cleaning dept when they were working very early in the morning. We thank you so much. Recommended!

Nice affordable accommodation in walking distance to metro. Great breakfast buffet.
