Very Inconvenient Reception Arrangement
Very nice rooms and convenient location. Just a couple of things that would make me reconsider staying again.
1. This hotel is within Sofitel. There's no signage so very difficult to find the first time. Once inside, reception is on level three, but until you check in there's no way to use the lifts. Sofitel staff advised me to call and somebody will meet me, but without a local number this isn't an option. Would be nice if you could easily get to reception.
2. There's no individual AC control in the rooms. My room was very hot. There was a portable fan in my room, but disappointing for a 4 star hotel.
3. My access card stopped working. Once again I couldn't easily get to reception. Once I got back to reception, the single staff member was fixing my card but was also getting called to pick up guests from the lobby, so I or new guests were left waiting due to the weird reception arrangement.
