Beautiful Hotel
The hotel is stunning and amazing. I cannot speak on it, however, I did extend my stay multiple times and took it upon myself to go down the day before the check out date and pay whatever is owed. One night. I went down to extend again and update my room key (so it doesn’t expire at check out the next day) the check in rep told me I was told to go and the next morning they called me 5 times to ask why I was still in the room. Then, a few minutes later, they sent a bell boy with a credit card machine and a security member to my room… I explained to them I extended my stay and they left, then I get another call in which I told them I would just come down… I get to the lobby and the front desk clerk told me I had to the pay the $15.00 in taxes to extend my stay (I’ve spent over $2000.00 American dollars here thus far)…
I understand what is due should be paid, and I was not running away from it, however this was a fault of the reception desk the night before who didn’t proceed with his job properly.
Otherwise this hotel and its staff are wonderful.
