Holiday Inn Express & Suites White Haven - Poconos, an IHG Hotel

There was someone else’s food still in the fridge, the linen was stained and the door broken Really not a good experience

Check in was smooth but the room we stayed was right next to highway and could not get a good night sleep at all. They were fully booked and they could not switch the room. If you are sensitive to the noise, do not recommend this hotel as it is right next to very busy highway.

The hotel is located about ten minutes from Jack Frost/Big Boulder ski areas. It’s a great place to stay if you are skiing at either resort. It’s also located right off of the I80 and I476 exits.

Bellow average Holiday INN Express for us. Frequent travelers and this was certainly not up to usual standard of what we get at Holiday inn. Little rundown little dirty room not ready at 250pm I know 3 pm check in but hotel was far from full. Smell of weed throughout especially near cleaning staff. Breakfast poorly done

We found the room comfortable and relatively clean. There were some hairs on the bathroom floor and heater had a lot of dust/dirt on the intake vent-which we cleaned off before using. There was also a lot of noise from the highway throughout the night. We felt very welcomed by the staff and received good service at check-in, breakfast, and check out.

If you want to ski Jack Frost, this is the closest decent hotel. Less than 20 minutes to the slopes. My only complaint about this hotel is that our room faced a highway, very close, and it was very noisy. Perhaps if I was luckier, a room on the opposite side of the building would be better. Otherwise a great place to stay when you visit Jack Frost.

Overall the stay was good but when we checked in there was food left in the fridge in one of our rooms and no toilet paper in the bathroom. The second room had clear damage to the door and safety latch and wood splinters from the door gave my wife a splinter.

There was no heat in the room and when we called the front desk we where told the manager was aware of it and they had no other rooms available yet on hotel.com they had three rooms available. It took almost three hours for them to get a technician out to look at the unit juat to say heater elelment was broken which we told them. They offered us blankets for the night and said they would comp our room for the night but they had to wait and go through hotels.com since thats how we booked. When we left i asked for a reciept got told i cant have one since i booked on this site
