Your private studio is a corner unit in a small, multi-studio building with an artsy, Western vibe. With one long, continuous covered porch running the length of the building, it almost feels like the sidewalk on the main drag of an Old West town. Benches are provided so you can relax and take in the humbling views of the Rocky Mountains rising just outside your door. The building has a dedicated parking lot.
Step inside and you’ll find a simple, comfortable space that serves as a bedroom, living room, and kitchen, with everything thoughtfully organized for a sense of uncluttered space and ease. The textured walls, rustic wood panel interior doors, and barn door-style headboard give the space a touch of uniquely “Colorado” character.
Enjoy a good night’s rest on the queen-size bed, where you can sit and watch the wall-mounted TV. The TV is also viewable from the leather loveseat. Arrange some delicious take-out food on the coffee table and snuggle in for a cozy meal and a movie as you decompress after a day of hiking or skiing.
You’ll find a convenient kitchenette with counter space and cabinets, along with a sink, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It’s perfect for the active, thrifty traveler -- just right for making simple lunches and snacks, heating up ready-made meals from the supermarket, and re-heating take-out.
If you’re visiting in warmer weather, you’ll be grateful for the ceiling fan and wall-mounted air conditioner.
A cheery bath will brighten your every morning with a bright blue mosaic wall as the backdrop to your pedestal sink. The combination tub/shower can be useful to both human travelers and those with dirty post-hike paws!

Some people might tell you they’d be content to just hang around Old Colorado City for weeks at a time, but we urge you to explore everything the region has to offer. There’s so much – and so much of it is unforgettable.
You’ll find additional shopping, dining, and cultural attractions in Downtown Colorado Springs, just a 7-minute drive away. In 3 minutes, find yourself in Manitou Springs, a walkable small town with a creative vibe.
There’s a good chance you’re coming to enjoy the Great Outdoors – and we’ve got a lot of it. It’s jaw-droppingly beautiful and full of opportunities for incredible experiences, whether you’re seeking peaceful restoration or an adrenaline rush. In the Rockies, you can hike, bike, ski, raft, fish, hunt, zipline, and much more.
We can boast some of the most striking natural scenery in the world, including Pike’s Peak (“America’s Mountain”) towering 14,000 feet above sea level, and the Garden of the Gods, where ancient rock formations soar 300 feet into the air – just 2 minutes away! If you’re bringing your pup, they’ll have the time of their life in the Garden’s off-leash area.

We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.

-The bathroom only offers the shower. The bathtub convertor is disabled.
-This is shared with a multi unit property with other vacation rentals and small businesses.
-Parking is limited to one spot per unit. There is limited overflow parking in the back so we don't recommend more than 2 vehicles per unit.
-There is a Mini Split unit controlled by remote to adjust the thermostat or level of heating and air inside the unit.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!
-Additional fees for dogs

This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited
Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:
- NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop.
- We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
- Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.
- We cannot guarantee an early check-in, as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early.
Non-Refundable Damage Deposit Waiver:
- Instead of charging a security deposit, Hoste charges a non-refundable $19 damage waiver fee that covers up to $2,500 for damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of your acts or omissions. Please see house rules or the rental property agreement when you book for more information about how the damage waiver works. Because the damage waver fee is Non-Refundable; If a Guest changes properties for any reason they may be charged a new damage waver fee for the new property at the discretion of the property Manager.
Please be advised that we ask all guests to complete our secure, online guest verification portal after your reservation is created. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL.
