Booked accommodation here for a work trip in Vancouver in November. Arrived at the airport where I was supposed to have a shuttle pickup, after trying to call the hotel multiple times since the shuttle wasn't at the airport and then texting the contact number that I was Ubering to the hotel since there was no shuttle and I can't get a hold of anyone, I was texted back that they had a "major issue at their site and were forced to close for a few days, there is no one at the location so do not go there." 10:30 pm and I was forced to find alternate accommodation with zero warning, with many hotels having no availability. Expedia tried to get in touch with the host to ask what happened and request a refund since I never stayed at the property; the host did not return their calls/messages even though he had told me he would resolve this issue and refund my charge. 3 months later and still no refund or resolution.
