Great location!
The hotel is right next to Syntagma square and the National Garden (Airport bus X95 goes between Syntagma and the airport). Great location, walking distance to all the famouse sights of Athens (Acropolis, Panathenaic Stadium, Zappeion, Monastiraki ect.). Plaka district is close too, with all the restaurants, bars and cafés!
The rooms are big, but with a little old furniture. The bathroom is pretty small, but it was nicely renovated. The rooms are clean, the staff was nice too.
The breakfast is okay, not too varied, but there was always fresh olives, salamon and greek yogurt (which was fabolous).
At the reception they said that the rooftop terrace was closed cause of renovation. But they opened it every evening, and the view was awesome!!! The Acropolis is just amaizing during night. By the way there was no renovation, I think they just did not want to open the rooftop bar, so they say it is closed (but that is the best part of the hotel...crazy)!
It was a great value for this prize!
