There is a hygiene problem in the hotel, especially the bathroom as it is a shared bathroom, it seems to be really old and the place overall needs to be done from top to bottom, also another problem was that the WiFi we were given wasn’t the hotel’s WiFi, instead, it was just the WiFi of a shop by the hotel which led to a lack of internet connection. The place may be worth the price as it is cheap but there is a lack of hygiene and services. Other than that the location of the hotel is good as it is situated in is really nice area of Athens and the staff is overall alright.

Bad experience
Unprofessional welcome, difficult to find my reservation, dilapidated hotel, not maintained, no hot water, no heating, carpet full of stains, no WiFi in the room, no television, door to room number 8 impossible to close, no separation of the terrace from the adjoining bedroom.

Decent but overpriced
Although the room was clean and partially renovated and the service was good, the place is very overpriced. It's hard to imagine staying for more than one or two nights given the small space, old building and tiny bath.

No one at the check in desk. Had to call the number but no reply. Waited about an hour eventually the cleaner showed and spoke with the owner who said that they had no reservation for me! None of the toilets or showers worked on any of the floors. Had to hold it in and beg to use the toilets of Everest the cafe near by. Did not have a wash. The door lock does not lock. Had an unwanted visitor - not sure by accident. Asked them to leave. Had to hide my belongings and looked like a crock when going on the hunt for facilities - toilet & shower. You know that saying "it looks like something, it tastes like sonething", luck I did not step on it", well this may look like a hotel, it feels like a hotel from the outside, wished I hadn't stayed in it from the inside. Waste of money and certainly did not get the basics of any hotel facilities. The current management are travellers living in a caravan and I guess they maybe used to no bathroom o toilet facilities but surely this should not be imposed on the paying public that have paid for it!

If all you need is a place to rest your weary head then this is the place for you. Bring shoer shoes and your own towels and washcloths.
