The location was perfect to view the Total Eclipse. It was highly overpriced, however (but, all hotels were trying to make a buck - and I understand that).
That said, our room was very nice... **BUT**...it was as if someone was moving furniture above us at all times of day/night (1am, 3am, 5am, 2pm, 5pm, 11pm - yes, those are the actual times). And this was for the 3 of the 4 nights we stayed there. We tried to get an upper floor, but 2nd floor (out of 4) was the best they could do. The low frequency THUMP, THUMP, THUMP of the upstairs is the only thing that spoiled the stay. Even with earplugs, the low frequency thump goes right through enough to wake me/us up (we were in bed at 9pm, and awake at 7am ... contrast to times, above). Too bad this expensive hotel couldn't have better floors that would prevent all walking to be EASILY heard in the room below.
