Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sedalia, an IHG Hotel

Easy check-in at the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful when asked about local knowledge of the area. The room was clean and comfortable. Great experience.

We love staying at Holiday Inn and suites. Only issues we had this stay was the refrigerator was loud and several of the other guests were slamming doors and such but not much can be done about that.

They we are very considerate in the fact that I was a traveling night shift worker, so they put me on the upper level to make sure I was away from younger children and the coming and going of families during the daytime. Also when I asked for help with my luggage and for a change in my schedule due to Covid contract changes. They were helpful and understanding, both the hotel and Expedia’s customer service. The bed is huge and soft and comfortable, the room is really spacious and has lots of areas to put luggage on and store. The coffee machine was nice and the shower had loads of steaming hot water with a very generous flowing showerhead. Even the breakfast during Covid times was really good, lots of handmade hot food, instead of cold to go boxes you see at other hotels. The only difference is they have a primary server who brings everything to you that you need, instead of cold to go boxes at other places. The only complaint that I might have is that every time I took a shower, the right outside of the tub would leave a puddle on the floor from some kind of leak under the rim of the tub. It was nothing that really bothered me that I couldn’t fix with a towel, but it could be dangerous if you’re not paying attention. And even though the breakfast was really delicious, it is only Served after 6 AM, when most of the contract travelers who live in the hotel are already at work. Therefore it’s kind of a bummer to pay for something you don’t get to enjoy. Overall a great stay!

This is a lovely, relatively new Holiday Inn. Everything worked in the room & gym, pool open, etc. I wish we’d had a little cleaning & fresh towels after our first night; were out of our room at 11am. Very good overall for Sedalia. Breakfast appreciated during COVID.

This hotel is spectacular!! It is so clean and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful!!

The room was very nice a spacious. We had very restful visit after a long day of biking. Breakfast was a nice bonus.

Hotel was very clean and felt like they were concerned with the safety and care of us as guest.

They had a warm indoor pool and warmer hot tub. It helped us relax after arrival.
