The sun beds are dangerous. I tipped right over head into the bushes. Banged my head and bruised elbows. My brother-in-law also did the same and we saw this happen to 2 other people.
We really enjoyed our stay. The room itself was good in terms of size and amenities but the furnishings were either not to our taste or slightly dated. The bathroom perfectly clean. The balcony wasn't quite as clean which was a pity as it had excellent views of the lake. The breakfasts were really good with an excellent choice and we ate at the hotel restaurant one evening which we really enjoyed. We enjoyed the hotel bar and the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Parking was a useful addition too. The hotel was an easy walk away from Bardolino town without being right in the middle which suited us
Cannot say enough wonderful things about Hotel Nettuno! From the initial greeting they knew our names and made us feel welcomed! The room was large, clean and had partial view of the lake. There is a lift for those with luggage but the stairs are very easy.
We arrived late and they quickly got us the last table for dinner and provided wonderful service. Food was wonderful!
The location was just a short walk away from the main plaza but it takes just 2 minutes to walk so we loved going into town to shop/eat/drink and then go back to our quiet hotel and have a nightcap with our favorite bartenders! Luca and Venezia were exceptional! There is live music some nights which was nice.
We had to get back to the train station and our initial bus experience took so long, we asked if they could get us a taxi back and they made a call and had a wonderful driver there for us in the morning even arriving a few minutes early.
Canât wait to return and spend more time in Bardolino!!
The staff are super friendly and the location and walk along the from was really nice into Bardolino. The room I had was noisy by the open staircase so the entertainment that went on until 11pm kept me awake, I had an early morning train the following day. Mostly Northern Europeans guests and the food reflected that. The staff couldnât do enough for me so a good place to stay but donât rely on the food.
Great place to stay in Bardolina. Clean, convenient, well-appointed with a terrific restaurant. Rooms are small but comfortable, and the parking was very much appreciated (free).
This was our first holiday in Italy and Lake Garda and Hotel Nettuno exceeded our expectation. The location of Hotel Nettuno is great for easy access to the centre of Bardolino with a lovely lakeside walk. The breakfast selection was excellent, so much to choose from. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice and enjoyed the buffet starters from the salad bar, the two courses and the choice of desserts. The staff were most welcoming and friendly especially Elke and the waitress Maria (sorry if I have the wrong name). All the staff were patient with my few words of Italian and speak English fluently. Our room was a good size, well furnished and well cleaned. Yes the decor was a bit tired and overdue for the imminent refurbishment but it did not spoil our enjoyment of the hotel. It was lovely to see Bardolino during the buzz of the wine festival but good too to experience a quieter Bardolino after the festival had packed up. Transport links with busses and ferries were good and was our first holiday without a car. We plan to return.
Beautiful location on Lake Garda. The path along the lake takes you to many interesting places. Bikes are available for you to ride 5k to Lazise which is a great little town with the backdrop of a castle.
Hotel is well cared for and staff is great! Breakfast is worth booking ahead.
