Hotel location was great, room was clean and modern which we liked. Only dissatisfaction was charge of 5 euros for A/C which i was expecting to be included in the cost of the room and additional charge for breakfast even though i requested breakfast when searching for hotels in Rome. Felt like hotel was not honest about their amenities. Won't be going back again.
The hotel location was good. However, other things were tricky! For example free breakfast means a cup of coffee and a croissant. If you want just a regular breakfast, you need to tell them ahead and pay extra though the reservation includes free breakfast. Hotel description says air conditioned. In real life you got to pay extra for each half day separate. If you use it during the day and night, you pay for two sessions! Never had this kind of experience.
The hotel is in fair condition at best with quite uncomfortable beds. They charge extra for air conditioning although the Hotels.com website states it had air conditioning .Theyhad no answer why they don’t charge extra for tv as they do for AC but advertise it is available (or state AC extra on the Hotels.com website). They breakfast is literally a croissant and poor coffee. The room is tight and a bit dingy. They are a lower price than others in the Hotels.com website in the area.I travelled with my wife to weeks in September in north Italy and just finished two weeks of travelling with my wife and children in south Italy. Just one person‘s opinion but Italy is fantastic . ROMEis a different type of city within Italy with the exception of perhaps Milan. The sites in Rome are unavoidable to miss. The merchants, many restaurants and hotels will try to nickel and dime you for every penny you have whenever they can. The service in the city is quite mercenary.
