Disappointing room location
Lovely hotel, new and clean. Room design is practical. Not too far away from nice restaurants and attractions.
However, the hotel has a ground floor rooms, just behind the reception. We were given a room in this section, not considering our request for a higher floor room ( I have anxiety when staying on a low floor in a highly building due to PTSD). They promised to look at it and change us for our second night, which they never did. This section of the hotel is also inconvenient because you have to go through the lounge to get to the lift, every time you want to go to the pool or gym, walking in your robe amongst people leaving and arriving. Although the room was nice, the location of it made it feel second class and unpleasant.
The staff are obviously new and not very knowledgeable . We were asked to pay for the room , which was prepaid, on our arrival and our check out and we had to argue and provide proof of payment, which is not an issue but is annoying.
The room service and the cleaning services were great.
Charging €15 a day for parking when there is plenty of free street parking is outrageous
