Stonewall Resort is set on a stunning piece of property that offers breathtaking views and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The resort itself has a cozy lodge feel, which makes it a great getaway for anyone looking to unwind. I dined at the restaurant downstairs, and while the food was decent, it could definitely use a bit of a refresher. Unfortunately, there weren’t many vegetarian-friendly options in the buffet, but I have to give credit to the French onion soup—it’s amazing! However, on my second night, I ordered takeout, and they forgot the bread and cheese, which really make the dish. It was a bit disappointing since those ingredients are essential to the experience. On the plus side, the bread rolls and butter are absolutely addictive!
As for the rooms, they have a vintage feel, which adds to the rustic charm, but I would recommend bringing flip flops for comfort. Overall, it’s a beautiful location and a nice place to stay, but a few improvements could make it even better.
