Rare attention to beauty, always 100% maintenance.
Since I missed my I 5 road trip last year, I was particularly looking forward to staying here again. This is a classic midcentury motel reimagined as a unique oasis. The garden is extraordinary as is the tile works and detailing in the rooms. Clearly, the priority here was to create something beautiful for guests, and the sense of hospitality from the family is warm and welcoming. I look forward to my next visit.
The room was as expected for a low-price hotel. Some of the bedding wasn't super clean, but it wasn't horrible. The bathroom had a strange smell, and the shower floor and shower curtain were also a bit dirty. The staff was friendly, and we were generally happy with our stay, as we only needed a place to sleep. I think the $10 per dog fee is a steep for the cleanliness of the room.
I thought motel right off I-5. You drive 7 miles to the town of Los Banos. Cute place. Wonderful linens. Plush towels which I very much appreciated. Bare bones. No in room coffee. There are a Frig and microwave. A bit over priced for what you get.
I hate to let everyone know how great the Inn is because they might raise their rates! Absolutely nothing that wasn't 5 star to me. Completely renovated rooms. Cute little motel with lots of character. You won't be disappointed.
Just needed a room for the night; it met my needs. Very basic, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was good. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants in the area. The only negative was that the inn is on a busy road that is very noisy. Fortunately, I was able to get to sleep.
Nice place; clean and comfortable. Some restaurants within walking distance, including Eddieâs Famous Cafe (beat breakfast in California, per the SF Examiner), the Courtyard (which serves mimosas), A&W, and a few others. Dennyâs, IHOP and others a few minutes down the street. âHistoric Downtown Los Banosâ is a few blocks away; includes a nice sports bar/restaurant.
"Economy" says it all; you get what you pay for. The room was pleasant, clean, but just adequate. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was quite nice, but it took a while to determine that there truly was hot water available.
One very nice feature was that the refrigerator actually had a freezer compartment! That is rare, and appreciated.
On the downside, it is right by a street where cars make LOTS of noise through the night. There was no coffee or breakfast of any kind offered.
We decided to make a pit stop in Los Banos on our way home from South Lake Tahoe and chose this motel for the price. Wasnât expecting it to be so clean. It was great, had a big screen TV , microwave and refrigerator for under a hundred dollars. And it was conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. The lady at the front desk was also very nice and helpful.
It was a nice little hotel, the front was nicely decorated. We were in the area for a quinceañera so we needed a one night here. It is close to many restaurants and a Tesla charger which is what we needed.
Friendly staff, clean room and very roomy.
We were glad we stayed here.
