Continental Hotel Budapest

A nice hotel but not telhe level of comfort I was expecting. The roof pool was shut for the winter and nobody told me until I was up there ready to swim. The room was a little run down. All of the communal areas were lovely. Good location for nightlife and about 15 min walk from the central shopping area

Everything was great except the shower stall in the Bathroom (it was very small and no room to move around). restaurant had great food.

Excellent staff and place location

Very good location in the Pest side. Loads of restaurants and bars Lovely character of the hotel. Enormous lobby area. Could they make more of that? Perhaps look at putting a bar area there. The present one on the mezzanine although nice was at times very packed( hotel was full) Room was excellent plenty of space and shelves. Towels a bit thin perhaps All the staff were excellent and informative The only downside was the breakfast Although there was choice, because the hotel was full, it wasn’t up to the standard my wife and I expected and was not replenished quickly enough. Overall a very good choice for city centre hotel Ps. Service marked down for the breakfast comments. Cannot think where else to mark down?
